Once upon a time…
there was a child celebrating a special occasion. They dreamed of a party filled with family and friends. Where for one magical day, they could be a pirate or a fairy, a superhero or princess, or party with magical unicorns and teddy bears – or be that little girl who found wonderland at the bottom of a rabbit hole…
Pop the Balloon! burst onto the party scene on the Central Coast of NSW in January 2016 with a party mumma who had a vision to share her passion for creating the ultimate children’s parties with as many children as possible.
Whether it be your child’s birthday, a milestone celebration, baby shower, children’s religious ceremony or naming day, or even your school vacation care entertainment – we are dedicated to helping our clients create successful programs of entertainment where happy and engaged children are at the heart of all that we do.

Rochelle is a highly imaginative party stylist and event planner
who’s flair for party styling can be most likened to that of a
storyteller. You will get so much more than glass jars filled with
lollies when you hire Rochelle as your party stylist!
Rochelle is also a business professional with over 20 years
experience in corporate Australia. Throughout her busy career,
Rochelle has coordinated and delivered a number of events from
budget dinners to conferences, gala dinners, workshops and road
shows to name a few.
It is the professionalism and sophistication demanded in these fast paced environments that enables her to bring your special event to life with minimal effort on your part.
Complimenting her corporate life was her creative and artistic endeavours as a dancer and dance teacher who was privileged to work with some of the best entertainment organisations in the business. This included her unforgettable experiences working with Disney Australia. It was her exposure to the world of Disney that inspires her most to bring more than just ‘party plates and hats’ to your next event – it is also about bringing the ‘magic’; capturing the hearts and imaginations of every guest and ensuring that your child’s party will linger in their minds long past their special day.
Having swapped the corporate world for the excitement of creating magical lands filled with pirates, superheros, fairies, and other childhood superstars; Rochelle is no less busy, raising her three young children with her amazing husband – right here on the Central Coast of NSW.
Rochelle is also a New South Wales Justice of the Peace and has a current working with children check.

For the party DIY’er, we offer the ultimate in party styling services where you can choose from our extensive range of pre-packaged children’s party themes and be wow’d by how much we have put together just for you.
AND no more having to make up the bulk of your themed party supplies with generic / bland coloured items from your local party supplier. Our party minions search tirelessly the world over – looking for all of the available matching themed elements that together, bring your child’s party to life. We know you will love it! And the best part? We ship all of this Australia-wide – to your door FREE!
If on the other hand, you are the kind of person who never really outgrew the wonder and enjoyment of childhood – then we have the right party for you!
Our one-on-one party styling services lets you create the ultimate children’s party experience – uniquely yours, and perfect in every detail. Our party stylist (aka Head Honcho) will:
discuss the important elements of your party in an initial ‘no obligation’ discussion that will cover your preferred party theme, budget, number of guests, dates, venue and ‘must have’ items which could include;
- treats buffet (decoratively styled in your theme with a selection of lollies, treats and sweets)
- birthday cake
- children’s party table set up and styling (can also include adult party tables)
- entertainment (hosted games with prizes / jumping castles / face painters / balloon twisters / character appearances etc)
- personalisation of selected items including invitations and stationery, treats, milestone boards, water bottles, bunting etc

We understand that keeping children entertained can be a challenge, however it does not have to be. With a combination of the right ideas and tailored activities – creating the ultimate experience for your next vacation care program is as easy as choosing your theme and package, then leaving the rest to us!
We currently offer two packages:
Option 1 provides your educators with the tools and equipment they need to host the activities themselves.
Option 2 provides a fully hosted experience with our Pop the Balloon! Head Honcho at the helm! Option 2 also includes a morning or afternoon tea option, with treat selections styled to suit your theme whilst accommodating any dietary requirements.
However you envision your event to be, we can make it happen.

Pop the Balloon! is based on the beautiful NSW Central Coast. Services featured within our ‘Party Styling Service’, are currently available from Newcastle, Central Coast to Hornsby and the Upper North Shore. We offer our party styling services in your home, parks and private function spaces but regrettably do not currently offer this service for parties held within amusement parks / venues.
School vacation care program entertainment is currently available to schools within the Newcastle and Central Coast areas only.
Our pre-packaged party themes featured under our ‘Self Service Menu’ ship Australia-wide usually within 7-10 days. We understand that sometimes faster shipping times are a necessity and this can be accommodated for an additional charge.
